- 1976: Physics Degree obtained "magna cum laude" from Universitˆ degli Studi di Torino, thesis on "Markovian Processes on Group Manifolds", supervisor Prof. Mario Rasetti, Politecnico di Torino.

- From 1979 to 1994: researcher, Istituto Elettrotecnico Nazionale Galileo Ferraris, Torino, Materials Department.

 

- From 1994 till present time: Research Director, first with Istituto Elettrotecnico Nazionale "Galileo Ferraris" (IEN) and subsequently with Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica (INRIM).

 

- Vice-President of IEN Galileo Ferraris and member of IEN Galileo Ferraris Board of Directors for the period 2002-2004.
